Home….? Not so fast there, this won’t be the easy one!


That tends to be the situation, whether it’s in that sequence… Everything seems a bit hard when you buy a home. I mean, no pressure, it’s only the biggest thing you will ever buy and, you know, live in/with everyday right?


Did you know most purchases have an emotional base? Of course, you did and buying a home can be extremely emotional, which in some situations can be great but you know the real estate agents knows this too right, and they want to sell you something at the highest price.


What if there was someone that could be your agent? Someone to represent your needs? For example, when you go to a court of law the prosecution/defendant has a lawyer, so you really need one of your own if you were to stand a chance. Extend this concept to buying a home: a buyer’s agent to deal with the seller’s agent!


I speak from personal experience here when I say it makes a huge difference. From my point of view, it was great because it allowed my wife and I to think through:

  • what we wanted from a home
  • set a budget
  • have all the admin/inspection etc taken care of
  • sit back and assess our options
