Myth: All life insurance is the same

Oils ain’t oils. And life insurance isn’t just life insurance, either. A lot of life insurance products won’t do what you need because they differ as much as people’s lives and needs.

There’s a big difference between a fully underwritten, non-cancellable insurance issued by a life insurance company, not a general insurance company. A good financial adviser will find you a legally binding contract that the life insurer can’t get out of, as long as the policy remains in force.

And when you add the ability to tailor cover and the ability to factor in living benefits as well as traditional life cover, you can see why “oils ain’t oils”.
